Ringing Phones

If my phone rings in class,

I silence it oh so fast.

If the teacher heard it ring,

Down on me, her wrath she’d bring.

I’ve already been caught once,

Twice and I’d be like a dunce.

In detention, I would sit,

When I would rather just split,

And go home to sit and play,

Xbox games or just lay,

On my bed to think,

Of snacks I want or a drink.

Basically, I say to you,

If you have a cell phone too,

Do not even let it ring,

Silence is a better thing.

Airplane mode is the one,

Unless detentions are your fun.

For me, I think I’ll pass,

On ringing phones during class.
