End of Darkness

The darkness grips my very soul,

my heart just a blackened hole.

Even in the brightest light,

darkness wins every fight.

All the thoughts that fill my head:

stress, worry, and anxious dread.

Surrounded by many a friendly face,

I still feel alone and out of place.

I don’t know what to do

to stop feeling so blue.

Then you’re there, a light in my dark,

and there’s the start of a tiny spark.

The spark grows day by day,

and I hope you’ll always stay.

My sad heart begins to heal,

and I start to finally feel

more than just worry and dread,

happy thoughts invade my head.

You chased the darkness from my soul,

and made my heart completely whole.

Real Love

Your heart beats right next to mine,

Our bodies pressed close, so divine.

These treasured moments, for now, are rare,

To us this seems completely unfair.

Our parents say that we should wait,

Said we’re too young, whether gay or straight.

But our love was too strong to contain,

From that act, we could not refrain.

It’s not lust, but love we feel,

I love you, I know this is real.

Sad No More

He sat alone, so very sad,

One friend and he’d be glad.

He held back tears, refusing to cry,

He just wished that he knew why.

Why did they hate him so?

Their reasons, he didn’t know.

He used to be their true friend,

Why oh why did it simply end?

He hated to be always alone,

Sitting with just his phone.

He heard a sound, looked in surprise,

And saw a pair of beautiful eyes.

The eyes, a dark chocolate brown,

Belonged to a boy who did not frown.

The new boy sat down in a chair,

And began talking, without a care.

A smile crossed the first boy’s face,

And his lonely heart began to race.

Maybe this boy could be the one,

To turn his sad days into fun.

The lunch bell rang, he turned to go,

Newfound happiness starting to show.

New Home

You’re finally free of that rat-filled apartment,

which was scarcely more than a low rent tenement.

A slow walk through the local village,

and you reach your new bought cottage.

A home, not a house, a thought filled with pride,

as you slowly step inside.

A tasty aroma in the air, and warmth from the glowing fire,

you know it’ll be a night filled with love and desire.

Home and hearth can bring you joy,

snuggled fireside with your favorite boy.

Until Eternity

Cold rain, hot skin.

Is it wise to let him in?

Dark clouds, bright eyes.

In your room, the time flies.

Quick pulse, slow kiss,

You’re soon feeling bliss.

Late night, early sun.

Could he be the one?

Innocent look, guilty thought.

In his web, you are caught.

Night is gone, day is here,

He must part but never fear.

Lonely no more, together you’ll be

Happy with him until eternity.

Don’t Let Go

Love can strike fast,

hitting you like a grenade blast.

Or love can strike slow,

filling you with a warm glow.

No matter where you try to turn,

when love strikes, you will feel it burn.

The fire of love runs hot and bright.

It fills your eyes with shining light.

Whether the strike is fast or slow,

grab on tight and don’t let go.

Wet Kisses

He clasps your hand, pulling you to his side,

his sexy smile is oh so wide.

A loving caress of your cheek,

makes your knees wobbly and weak.

The passion obvious on his face,

as you are pulled into his embrace.

Hands sliding down to your hips,

his tongue darting between your lips.

Kisses that are warm and wet,

are the best ones you can get.

More Than a Box

I don’t fit into a box or bag,

I’m not reflected by a name tag.

I am who I am no matter what you say,

More than a writer, more than just gay.

I have many sides to my personality,

So, stop trying to put a label on me.

If you want something to put in a box,

Go find some toys or a pile of rocks.

His Smiles

His amusement was pure delight,

his laugh lighting up the darkest night.

My grin revealed so very much,

about my feelings when we touch.

A smirk formed on his lips,

as his hands found my hips.

The beam in his eyes, the dimple in his cheek,

caused my wobbly knees to go weak.

I will love this guy until the end of time,

my heart is his and his heart is mine.
